Home Search Topics Contact About | Does Jesus Have The Preeminence In Your Life?Our lives here on earth are the only places where we will be permitted to have a measure of preeminence. We won’t have it in Heaven and those who go to Hell won’t have it there. There will be nothing in Heaven in which Jesus does not have the preeminence. If we want our lives here on earth to be as much like heaven as possible, He should have the preeminence here and now. When we get to Heaven we will know that His preeminence was, is and will always be best for us. Deuteronomy 5:33 Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and THAT IT MAY BE WELL WITH YOU, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.Colossians 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; THAT IN ALL THINGS HE MIGHT HAVE THE PREEMINENCE. I believe that “all things” means all things at all times and everywhere. Simply put, He always knows best. 1 John 3:20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. |
